Hello! My name is MaddyJo Shafer, and I’m 19 years old. I live with cerebral palsy along with several other disabilities, which have shaped my perspective and my passion. My heart is dedicated to promoting accessibility in special needs ministry, especially here in Colorado. To support this vision, I founded a mission called "Disabilities Matter Because of Jesus." Through this initiative, I aim to create opportunities for both children and adults with disabilities to engage with the Bible and the teachings of Jesus more easily. Allow me to share my testimony: When I was just 9 years old, my dad sat me down for an important conversation. He helped me understand the concepts of sin and death, and how, without genuine repentance, I wouldn’t be able to live with God eternally.
