January week 2

 Hello 

So this week we’re going to be talking about Jesus helps to man be come free so I may go ahead and read Matthew chapter 8 verses 28 through 34 and when he came to the other side to the country of gardenia, two demon possessed man met him coming out of the tomb, so fierce that no one could pass that way behold they cried out. What have you to do with us? Oh son of God have you come here to determine us before time now I heard of mini pigs was feeding at the distance from them and the demons baked him saying you cast us out and send this away into the herd of a pigs, and he said to them go so they came out and went into the pigs and behold the whole herd rushed down the Steepbank into the sea and drowned in the waters, the Hertzman fleet, and going into the city. They told everything special what had happened to the demon possessed man and behold all the city come out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they baked him to leave the region. This story is teaching us that miracles can happen and that not everyone wants to know about Jesus, but Jesus wants us to know him, and that he freed us into this great world of thanks.  In August and September, we are going to be focusing on how god is not slow. We are constantly moving at a fast pace, and we don't slow down. So we need to focus on slowing down so we can listen to what god is telling us. Above you will find our monthly verse. I want you to really pay attention to how God's timing may feel slow, but it will come before you know it.   God's timing is not slow. Have you thought that God's timing is slow? We tend to think God's timing is slow when really we lose our patience and we don't stay disciplined in constant prayer or studying his word. We make excuses to not study his word or pray. So I want you to read Romans 12:12 and think about what that verse is saying, Don't fight the truth. Your main activity for this unit is to write down how many times you deny God's timing and think he is forgetting or his timing is too slow. Hello!  My name is MaddyJo Shafer, and I’m 19 years old. I live with cerebral palsy along with several other disabilities, which have shaped my perspective and my passion. My heart is dedicated to promoting accessibility in special needs ministry, especially here in Colorado. To support this vision, I founded a mission called "Disabilities Matter Because of Jesus."
